- On-site Summary A technology-focused engineering organization is seeking a senior Java software engineer to develop and enhance complex software supporting mission-critical Signals Intelligence systems.
- Strong software engineering and programming experience using Java
- Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems
- Experience with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
- Ability to analyze system requirements and derive software design and performance requirements
- Experience debugging existing software and resolving complex defects
- Experience integrating software into new or modified systems and operating environments
- Experience developing software for real-time, processing-intensive, or large-scale data systems
- Experience designing or implementing complex database and data repository interfaces
- Experience developing and executing software component test procedures
- Knowledge of software development and design methodologies
- Ability to lead software development activities and provide technical direction
- A current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph Preferred Skills
- Java frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot
REST API

- Linux-based software development
- Build and dependency-management tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Version control using Git
- Automated testing and continuous integration practices
- Experience developing or optimizing high-performance algorithms
- Experience working with extremely large datasets or processing-intensive analytics
- Experience with distributed or real-time software systems
- Familiarity with COTS and GOTS software integration
- Experience supporting system integration, field deployment, and operational environments
- Knowledge of secure software development practices within classified environments
