Job Description:
Daily troubleshooting of Linux, Windows, Red Hat 6, 7, 8, and 9 Operating Systems Providing Ubuntu support Oversee cross-platform virtual machine lifecycles across Linux hypervisor environments (possibly Windows), optimizing resource allocation and compute capacity. Maintain and manage various versions of OpenStack across multi-region deployments Troubleshoot issues across Agency GOTS OpenStack platforms Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Puppet May include developing end-to-end Python and Bash scripts to automate daily operational tasks, reduce manual toil, and streamline system provisioning workflows Manage YUM repos (GOTS repository management) Utilize Naemon and Grafana diagnostic tooling to execute systemic performance analysis and proactively address health degraded states.
Required Experience:
OpenStack experience Linux experience to include: Red Hat 6, 7, 8, and 9 Experience with Grafana and Naemon Virtual Machine
  • Hypervisor Ansible and Puppet Preferred Qualifications:
    MachineShop experience Hypervisor virtual machine experience Python development language Understanding of Return-to-Service (RTS) protocols Familiarity with Pagent and Putty Python development language Bash scripting
