We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud initiatives and optimize cloud resources.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform that meet business requirements. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services. Conduct cloud readiness assessments and provide recommendations for cloud migration strategies. Establish best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance. Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and resource utilization. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, particularly within the Google Cloud ecosystem. Document architecture designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge and experience as a Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect. Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud-native applications and services on Google Cloud Platform. Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks. Solid understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in Google Cloud Platform. Ability to analyze and optimize cloud costs and performance. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in cloud architecture and design. Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is mandatory. Proven experience in leading cloud migration projects. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
