AWS Services Expert

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect with strong architectural thinking and hands-on cloud expertise. The ideal candidate should understand how to design scalable, secure, and resilient AWS solutions aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles. The role requires someone who can quickly analyze requirements, recommend the right AWS services, build proof-of-concepts, and provide practical architecture guidance across cloud and emerging AI technologies. Key Responsibilities Design cloud-native solutions using appropriate AWS services and architectural patterns Recommend AWS offerings aligned with Well-Architected pillars (Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, Sustainability) Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architectures Build quick POCs and solution prototypes using AWS services Collaborate with engineering, business, and leadership teams to define architecture roadmaps Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, and operational best practices Provide architecture guidance for modern application platforms, APIs, microservices, and AI-driven solutions Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and cloud strategy initiatives Required Qualifications Strong experience designing solutions on AWS Cloud Deep expertise in select AWS services with broad knowledge across the AWS ecosystem Ability to recommend the right AWS services based on business and technical requirements Strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework Experience creating POCs and architecture recommendations Excellent communication and articulation skills Ability to work onsite from Detroit, MI after selection Good to Have AWS Certifications Exposure to Snowflake (knowledge only; not an ETL/ELT role) Knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities Understanding of secure and responsible AI solution design Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks and MCP patterns Interview Process First round interview must be attended in person in either: Detroit, MI Charlotte, NC Selected candidates must relocate to Detroit, MI and work onsite from Day 1.
