This position plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and communicating cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities across shopfloor systems, vendors, and high-profile solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong cybersecurity analyst foundation and is eager to learn OT environments, manufacturing processes, and industrial systems. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, risk-based thinking, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders ranging from shopfloor personnel to executive leadership.

Rate Range:

$40/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

Lead or support regular Plant Risk Management meetings, serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for identifying, documenting, quantifying, and prioritizing plant-level cybersecurity risks. Support the development of risk remediation or risk compensation plans, and assist in decision-making related to Risk Acceptance Agreements (RAAs). Educate stakeholders on cybersecurity concepts, ensuring risks are clearly understood before acceptance or sign-off. Perform risk assessments for critical shopfloor changes and manufacturing projects, including tool introductions and equipment deployments. Conduct vendor security interviews and assessments when new devices or solutions are introduced into the plant environment. Evaluate topics such as remote connectivity, patching strategies, proxy usage, support models, and overall security posture. Analyze and incorporate supplier-related risks into local plant risk management activities. Act as the security liaison between vendors, manufacturing engineers, and internal security stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Strong background as a Cybersecurity or Security Systems Analyst. Solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles , including threat landscapes, defense pillars, and risk management. Demonstrated ability to analyze risk, assess vulnerabilities, and communicate findings effectively. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. OT / ICS

/ manufacturing environments . Hands-on experience with Splunk , including query and dashboard development. Familiarity with Active Directory and Entra ID .
