Senior DevOps / Data Platform SME

We are seeking a senior DevOps professional to assess, design, and help implement a scalable cloud data platform that supports enterprise analytics and upcoming cloud ERP integration. This role will play a critical part in moving the organization from a limited data warehouse model to a modern data lake or lakehouse architecture with appropriate governance, security, and operational rigor.

This is a hands‑on, architecture‑led engagement focused on platform enablement, reliability, and long‑term operational sustainability.

Key responsibilitiesAssess the current data and analytics environment and identify architectural, tooling, and operational gapsDesign a scalable cloud‑based data platform architecture (data lake / lakehouse patterns) aligned to future ERP and analytics needsRecommend and implement DevOps tooling including CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, monitoring, and environment managementBuild and harden data ingestion pipelines supporting batch and near‑real‑time integrations from ERP, SaaS, and third‑party data sourcesEstablish platform security, identity, access controls, and key management in partnership with security stakeholdersDefine data platform operating standards including deployment patterns, error handling, and observabilitySupport ERP data integration efforts and analytics readiness leading up to and following ERP go‑livePartner closely with data engineers, analytics teams, and external vendors to enable downstream consumptionProduce documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to support long‑term internal ownershipInterested candidates should submit resumes to sally.lander@roberthalf(.com).
