Job Description
The St. Louis County's Department of Information Technology seeks to hire an experienced, motivated, focused, and security-conscious individual to join our Infrastructure support team. The Infrastructure Analyst role will perform problem resolution in support of the management and support of IT, for both physical and virtual infrastructure. This position will be involved in the installation, configuration, administration and support of our physical and virtual server environment as well as enterprise-wide systems including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, Office 365, e-Discovery, Active Directory, virtualization, backup/recovery and other cloud services. The typical starting salary is between $31.63 - $37.96 hourly, depending upon the candidate's qualifications as well as budgetary considerations. Support, maintain and secure the various enterprise wide and administrative applications supported by the infrastructure and operation activities. Completion of technical operations, desktop support and architecture projects assigned in timely manner Develop suitable technical documentation and training materials of solutions and technology for support of IT teams Assist with developing solutions for aging infrastructure Assist in documenting processes and workflows Skills preferred but not required: Office 365, Active Directory, Virtualization, Intune, Microsoft Entra Comply with industry standard system administration techniques and procedures Serve on teams and / or committees as assigned Perform other duties as required or assigned Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field A minimum of two years of professional work experience in these areas: data systems, network security, operating systems, computer system architecture and virtual infrastructure experience Preference may be given to applicants with skills in the following applications: Office 365 Active Directory Virtualization Intune Microsoft Entra
