As an Operations Team Lead, you will guide a high‑performing DevOps/Operations team responsible for ensuring the security, resilience, and reliability of critical systems hosted in OpenShift. If you're energized by leading people, solving tough operational challenges, and collaborating directly with mission partners and government customers, this role is for you. This is a Key Personnel position supporting an intelligence customer. We're looking for a leader who brings strong Operations and Systems Administration expertise, team management experience, excellent communication skills, and enough development/scripting background to help automate, configure, and enhance deployments. What You'll Do Lead and mentor an Operations/DevOps team supporting multi‑environment system sustainment, administration, maintenance, and user support Prioritize and distribute work across the team, ensuring timely issue resolution and operational excellence Collaborate directly with users and government customers to understand requirements, communicate system status, and ensure mission outcomes Perform system administration, troubleshooting, testing, and security operations Maintain and update operational documentation including SOPs, SLAs, and system guides Receive code from development teams and complete system builds, hardening, configuration, and deployment automation Support and enhance CI/CD deployment workflows and security scans Manage PKI certificates, system configurations, and operational compliance Develop Helm charts for OpenShift deployments and support Infrastructure as Code practices Design and monitor user and system metrics to ensure performance, reliability, and readiness across all environments
What You'll Bring Required:
TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph Bachelor's degree in IT or STEM Field 7+ years leading teams in operations, sustainment, administration, security, or integration 5+ years implementing DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements 3+ years working with cloud technologies Minimum of IAT Level II certification (Security+) with IAT Level III certification preferred Experience supporting Agile/SAFe environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage users and government customers Knowledge of containerization, monitoring, logging, networking, and security
Desired:

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
