Job Description We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer IV/V to join our dynamic team supporting a high-impact sanctions screening program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Oracle, Unix, CI/CD, and Autosys and a proven ability to deliver robust, scalable features and system enhancements on schedule in an Agile environment .

Responsibilities:

Design, code, and unit test Java services and components for sanctions screening solutions. Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA, project leads, and technical architects. Implement deployments and operational workflows on OpenShift/Kubernetes using CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to major initiatives involving new feature development and system enhancements with attention to scalability and reliability. Troubleshoot and optimize applications across Oracle databases and Unix environments. Schedule and monitor batch jobs using Autosys to ensure timely processing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Java development for enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes container orchestration. Strong SQL skills with Oracle and familiarity with Unix shell operations. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using Autosys for job scheduling. Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while meeting timelines and quality standards.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in financial crime or sanctions screening domains. Exposure to niche vendor screening tools and integration patterns. Why BCforward?
