Cloud Engineer Senior Cone Health - 3.6 Greensboro, NC Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description The Cloud Engineer Senior manages the design and up-keep of the organization's cloud-based systems to ensure the organization can operate efficiently and safely. Working under minimal supervision, the Cloud Engineer Senior ensures that the cloud infrastructure and larger system is working properly and meets the organization's needs. Essential Job Function Manages the projects and development initiatives for the organizations cloud architecture to support applications and infrastructure on IaaS and PaaS platforms. Ensures the implementation of cloud solutions are implemented properly and efficiently given the organizations current needs. Reviews cloud hardware, software, and applications to ensure data is secure and that security management and privacy requirements are incorporated. Reviews cloud infrastructure data tests using specialized infrastructure tools, techniques, and technologies in order to successfully support multiple cloud platforms. Provides guidance for resolving complex cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities for the team. Remains up to date about new cloud products, technology, and best practices. Manages the development, support, and documentation related to Disaster Recovery efforts for hybrid cloud workloads. Ensures the enforcement of standards and best practices to provide efficient and cost-effective cloud solutions. Interacts with other IT teams and/or project teams to provide support, implementation, and design recommendations for cloud workloads. Performs other duties as assigned.
