Cloud Engineer

Job Summary The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based database platforms and infrastructure. This role focuses on building scalable, automated, and highly available solutions using modern cloud technologies. The position involves working within a collaborative, cross-functional team to deliver innovative, cloud-native solutions and support next-generation digital services. Key Responsibilities Deploy, scale, and operate non-relational databases such as Aerospike and Neo4j in public cloud environments Design and implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or ARM templates Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins Automate administrative and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Java, or shell scripting Configure and deploy applications in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability to ensure system reliability and performance Troubleshoot production issues and support system stability and resilience Maintain and manage configuration artifacts using Markdown and modern IDEs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver cloud-based solutions Support both cloud and on-premise environments as needed Required Qualifications Hands-on experience deploying and managing non-relational databases in cloud environments Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or ARM templates Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Java, or shell scripting Experience implementing monitoring and alerting solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve production issues Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments Experience designing or integrating AI-driven solutions or automation workflows Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices
