We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our infrastructure team. This role focuses on managing and scaling our AWS- and GCP- hosted systems. You will participate in the full lifecycle of our infrastructure, transitioning projects from initial configuration and testing in Development and Preview environments to final deployment and maintenance within Production. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily health and performance of our Linux and Windows servers. You will assist in the design and implementation of new infrastructure, managing deployments from configuration through to production release across our multi-cloud footprint. You will manage scalable resources (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) to support growing project requirements, and maintain and expanding our nodes within GCP. You will be expected to execute routine patching, system hardening, and configuration updates following established change management procedures. We rely on tools such as Nagios and CloudWatch to track system health and resolve performance bottlenecks, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate system configuration records and operational runbooks to ensure our standards remain consistent across all platforms. Required Skills & Experience Experience managing Linux and Windows Server environments Practical knowledge of core AWS services Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including: DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs Ability to follow disciplined change management practices Ability to maintain clear, thorough technical documentation Desired Skills & Experience Experience working across diverse and mixed technical environments Familiarity with Nagios‑based monitoring systems Experience with MySQL database administration Ability to automate routine tasks using one or more of the following: Bash, PowerShell, Python Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, particularly Asterisk / VoIP systems
