Job Description:
At Aigentless, we're building the best experience for renters to tour and lease apartments autonomously while delivering data to operators for improving how they market their properties. Founded in late 2024, Aigentless has launched over 30,000 units across the United States and is beloved by renters and customers. Today, our team is distributed across the United States. What unites us is our love for product craftsmanship. As a small team, we're all generalists and constantly picking up new challenges. When it comes to code, we're looking to work with experienced people who can pick a problem and solve it. We currently use Python on the backend, but are continuously evolving to build a solid foundation. We don't expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect strong system fundamentals and a background working with complex problems. Location & work mode This role requires hybrid in-office for at least 3 days per week in NYC. We value people who can self-manage and coordinate with others as needed on projects they own. What you'll do Design and evolve our LLM system, Leasa, to do increasingly useful work Build robust and performant data models that drive the analytics dashboard Improve reliability and operational excellence around our third-party integrations What we're looking for 3+ years of experience building customer-facing products at a high-quality software company Strong Python or TypeScript fundamentals, with experience across the full stack (Browser technologies, Node, PostgreSQL) Track record of driving complex, end-to-end features (not just incremental improvements and refactors) with visible impact on the product Product sensibility: you care about UX, speed, and polish, and you push back when something doesn't feel right Comfortable working without heavy PM overhead; you can help to shape the problem, not just implement a solution High ownership mentality: self-directed, full-lifecycle builder who takes a feature from idea to shipped Experience at a startup or a company with a genuinely high engineering bar Interest to apply AI judiciously and as a team from the ground up Our tech This stack reflects the systems we build and operate. You're not expected to have experience with everything listed, but you should be excited to work close to product, performance, and real-world scale. Integrations across access control, property management, and customer relationship systems LLM chatbot deployed in a live environment with increasingly useful capabilities NextJS, Postgres, FastAPI in the backend Hosted on Google Cloud What we offer We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Aigentless offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
