Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Systems Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Lead) to join our team in Albuquerque, NM developing new advanced concepts on a DOD propriety program. The position will be embedded with Systems Engineering Integration & Team supporting the entire product life cycle of the program through requirements derivation and development, design, procurement, integration, test, and verification and validation. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including associate, experienced and senior level systems engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, improves and maintains system and subsystem requirements, interfaces control documents/specifications, etc. Utilizes enabling technologies for requirements modeling & simulation, management, collaboration & interoperability. Performs requirements flow down/allocation and traceability along with development of verification matrices. Ability to perform trade studies to optimize overall system and subsystem performance. Facilitate technical discussions with chief engineers (CEs), subject matter experts (SMEs), technical lead engineers (TLEs) across multiple engineering disciplines to identify and formulate plans to execute and implement solutions to resolve technical issues. Works under general direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 2+ years of experience with requirements development, verification, validation, ICDs, risk, issues and opportunities management and/or trade studies Experience with the Systems Engineering product development lifecycle Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience): Level 3: 5+ years of experience with requirements development, verification, validation, ICDs, risk, issues and opportunities management and/or trade studies Level 4: 9+ years of experience with requirements development, verification, validation, ICDs, risk, issues and opportunities management and/or trade studies Experience with CAMEO or other model-based system engineering (MBSE/SysML) tools Experience with DOORS or other requirements management tools Experience with CONOPS development Familiarity with complex electro-optical or related systems

  • $124,200 Summary pay range for experienced (level 3): $112,200
  • $151,800 Summary pay range for lead (level 4): $136,850
