Job Description

We are looking for an Oracle Cloud Administrator to support and enhance enterprise cloud operations in Cleveland, Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can manage secure, scalable Oracle Cloud environments while partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain performance, reliability, and governance. The role focuses on infrastructure administration, automation, security controls, and operational support across multiple environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Oracle Cloud environments across development, testing, and production to ensure stable and consistent day-to-day operations.
  • Establish and maintain cloud governance standards by organizing compartments, access structures, policy controls, and resource tagging practices.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration through Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Oracle-native resource management services.
  • Administer cloud networking components, including virtual networks, subnet design, route configuration, security rules, and connectivity with on-premises environments.
  • Manage compute and storage services by provisioning virtual machines, maintaining storage resources, coordinating backups, and supporting patch activities.
  • Strengthen platform security through identity controls, encryption strategies, secrets management, threat monitoring, and vulnerability review processes.
  • Track system health and service performance using cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities while diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues.
  • Support financial oversight by reviewing cloud usage, monitoring budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
  • Partner with application, database, security, and network teams to support operational needs, compliance activities, incident response, and cloud-related transition efforts.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in operational or on-call support as needed.
