OpenShift Engineer Location:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled technical professional to ensure the reliability, scalability, and optimal performance of OpenShift clusters within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our team is passionate about supporting mission-critical production systems, driving automation, and enabling efficient DevOps practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain RedHat OpenShift clusters in both production and non-production environments, performing upgrades as necessary. Monitor cluster health, manage node scalability, oversee resource optimization, and ensure high availability with minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, containers, and services while participating in 24×7 on-call support rotation. Develop and maintain shell or Python scripts for automation, and support CI/CD pipelines through tools such as Jenkins, GitOps, or ArgoCD.
Required:
5-7 years of hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift (v4.x preferred) and Linux (RedHat Linux, CoreOS) system administration. Expertise in shell scripting, Bash, and/or Python as well as knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Helm, Docker, and GitOps workflows. Proven experience providing production support with on-call duties, incident triage, and root cause analysis in customer-facing environments. Relevant certifications such as RedHat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent knowledge and experience.
