Job Description
Job Description Lead efforts to improve reliability, performance, resiliency, observability, and operational readiness across business-critical applications and services.
Build automation around deployment, administration, monitoring, and application/service operations.
Establish and continuously monitor SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and OKRs, identifying gaps and driving optimization plans.
Partner across development, infrastructure, and support teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve system operability, and prevent recurring incidents.
Mentor engineers on SRE, observability, automation, incident management, and operational excellence practices. Skills and Requirements 6+ years of experience across Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience supporting and operating production applications, services, or enterprise technology platforms.
Strong experience with monitoring, logging, observability, incident response, automation, and scripting.
Experience working cross-functionally to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent production issues.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, or 9+ years of relevant SRE experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Experience leading major incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
Experience establishing SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and implementing enterprise observability and alerting practices.
