An Infrastructure Architect designs and installs computer systems and system upgrades for a business or organization. Develops technical design for new software to be integrated into computer systems and manages the integration of new system architecture. Reviews computer system performance and security and recommends upgrades and design improvements.
Logivision is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer / Technical Lead to serve as a senior technical resource for our engineering and managed services teams. The successful candidate will function as a technical leader, escalation resource, and subject matter expert for complex client environments and critical service issues. The ideal candidate possesses deep experience with networking, firewalls, Microsoft 365, servers, virtualization, VoIP, cybersecurity, and infrastructure projects. They will be expected to take ownership of challenging technical problems, provide guidance to technicians and engineers, develop standards and best practices, and lead the resolution of high-impact escalations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Leadership Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues. Lead troubleshooting efforts involving networking, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, backups, and business-critical applications. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians and engineers. Establish and maintain technical standards, deployment procedures, and best practices. Participate in technical design reviews and solution architecture decisions. Assist with root cause analysis of recurring issues and major incidents. Drive continuous improvement across support, operations, and project delivery teams. Infrastructure Engineering Design, deploy, and support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VLANs, wireless systems, and VPNs. Configure and maintain FortiGate, Sophos, Peplink/Pepwave, Ubiquiti, and related technologies. Implement failover, redundancy, security controls, and performance optimization. Lead network assessments, upgrades, and modernization projects. Systems & Cloud Administration Deploy and maintain Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, Active Directory, file services, and cloud resources. Manage Microsoft 365 tenants, mail flow, security controls, identity management, and collaboration services. Support server migrations, hardware upgrades, cloud transitions, and disaster recovery initiatives. Develop standard deployment practices for both customer and internal systems. Security & Compliance Lead the investigation and remediation of cybersecurity incidents and security alerts. Implement security best practices across customer environments. Manage firewall policies, VPN security, MFA solutions, email protection, and endpoint security. Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen customer security posture and reduce risk. Backup & Disaster Recovery Design and validate backup, recovery, and business continuity solutions. Troubleshoot cloud backup, NAS, Datto, and disaster recovery environments. Perform recovery testing and restoration activities for customer systems. Establish backup standards and documentation procedures. Project Engineering Lead infrastructure projects from planning through completion. Participate in client-facing technical meetings and solution design discussions. Coordinate with vendors, software providers, carriers, and hardware manufacturers. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and project deliverables. Support deployments involving networking, wireless infrastructure, VoIP, server migrations, Microsoft 365, and endpoint technologies.
R EQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in systems engineering, network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or senior technical support. Proven experience resolving advanced technical escalations.

TCP/IP Networking Routing and Switching Firewalls and Security VPN Technologies Microsoft 365 Administration Windows Server Active Directory Virtualization Platforms Backup and Disaster Recovery VoIP Systems Experience designing, implementing, and supporting business-critical infrastructure. Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Strong customer communication and documentation skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and escalations simultaneously.
