Job Description

Job Summary The Systems Engineer will support the design, administration, deployment, and troubleshooting of store technology solutions, including retail POS systems, peripherals, and mobile devices. The role will focus heavily on Mobile Device Management (MDM), particularly Android devices, while providing technical support to remote users and store associates. The engineer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support MDM migrations, Android device configurations, store technology projects, and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with implementing and administering store hardware and software solutions, including POS systems, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for store technology issues.
  • Address technology issues in a timely manner while maintaining a strong customer service experience for store associates.
  • Administer and support Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, particularly for Android devices.
  • Support MDM migration activities and Android device configuration.
  • Utilize reporting tools, scripting, and automation techniques to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners to understand and resolve technology issues.
  • Provide technical assistance for store technology projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define technical requirements and contribute to implementation activities. Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in an IT-related field, preferably within a retail technology environment.
  • Experience providing technical support to remote users.
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), specifically Android devices.
  • Experience administering and supporting retail POS systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think critically and troubleshoot effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting store technology environments within the retail industry.
  • Experience with scripting, reporting, and automation to improve operational workflows.
  • Experience supporting MDM migrations and large-scale Android device deployments.
