Job Description
Job Overview Develop custom software for engineering process automation with a focus on CAE and simulation tools, integrating disparate tool suites and data pipelines to improve capability and efficiency of vehicle development and engineering processes. Deliverables related to integrating commercial, open source, or internal tools through published APIs. Third Party Tool Integration Modules Production-ready plugins, drivers, or adapter libraries that connect external tools (e.g., CAE, simulation, analytics platforms) via REST, SDKs, MQTT, or other supported interfaces Clear abstraction layers to isolate external API dependencies API Interface Specifications Interface control documents (ICDs) describing endpoints, data contracts, authentication methods, rate limits, and error handling Versioned API compatibility notes for third party tools Configuration & Deployment Artifacts Environment configuration files (dev/test/prod) Credentials handling and secure connection setup Integration Validation Reports Test results demonstrating successful connectivity, data accuracy, and performance under expected loads. Mock or sandbox test artifacts when production systems are unavailable
