Job Description

Full-Time| Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM| Hybrid Position| Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will administer and designs compute and storage systems and recommends improvements necessary to ensure operation of Choctaw Nation systems. You will report to the Information Systems Manager.
Primary Tasks:
You will lead the design of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS). Lead the design of enterprise compute environments, including virtualization hardware, physical servers, and hosted systems. Develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication. Assure systems performance, stability, and security. You will lead projects working across departments. Perform complex tasks using critical-thinking. Develop or help develop IT policy. Design server OS, including Windows Server 2008, 2012+, and Redhat Linux. Implement Windows Active Directory environments. Design, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-wide VMware environments. You will apply company procedures to resolve issues promptly. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 4 years related experience. 8+ years of experience designing and managing system infrastructure based on best practices. Experience of Microsoft and VMWare system technologies (operating system and virtualization) Microsoft MCSA, VMWare VCP, or greater certification or equivalent experience Must be comfortable working in an accountable and maintain flexible working hours. 5 years' experience designing important system infrastructure.
