System Engineer, Senior COLSA Corporation - 3.8 Tinker AFB, OK Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications DoD experience Full Job Description Support the development, procurement, sustainment, and modification of aircraft systems, subsystems, components, and equipment. Provide systems engineering expertise in areas such as system design and integration, manufacturing, quality assurance, airworthiness, industrial engineering, and configuration/data management. Assist in the creation and maintenance of key systems engineering documentation, including system specifications, requirements documents, and systems engineering plans. Translate requirements into contractor deliverables such as software development plans, technical sub-specifications, and procedures, ensuring consistent application of systems engineering processes across all phases of development, production, and sustainment. Deliver engineering and technical support across system and subsystem design, development, integration, testing, and deployment. Define and manage technical processes, requirements, and system interfaces, supporting air system and avionics development initiatives. Contribute to system reviews and studies to help establish system requirements, performance parameters, and integration with related acquisition elements. Required Experience One of the following combinations of education/experience: Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline and a minimum of 15 years of relevant technical or professional experience, including at least 5 years supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) -OR- Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline plus a Master's degree in engineering (Master's degree is not required to be ABET-accredited) , and a minimum of 12 years of relevant technical or professional experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD. Ability to apply an understanding of DoD, AF, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve the performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems. U.S. citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
