Systems Engineer

We have also developed the United States' first rare earth and critical minerals processing facility and we own the only scalable, sintered neo-magnet manufacturing system in the Western Hemisphere. By developing this fully integrated, US-based "mine-to-magnet" critical mineral supply chain, we are poised to become the leading domestic supplier to these industries.

  • Job Summary:
  • The Network Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure that supports a rapidly growing, early-stage public company.
This role ensures secure, reliable, and scalable network systems across corporate, cloud, and operational environments. The position will play a key role in building foundational infrastructure, supporting business growth, and maintaining high standards for performance and security.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Oversee all network and server infrastructure across multiple sites, encompassing both IT and OT environments + Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance, availability, and security across all locations + Manage and support physical and virtual server environments + Manage and support Azure cloud environments + Administer core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and file/print services + Ensure system backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity procedures are in place and regularly tested + Lead network and server projects focused on bringing production systems online and maintaining operational uptime + Support and maintain Operational Technology (OT) systems + Create and maintain thorough documentation including network diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures •Required Qualifications•+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of education. + 7+ years of experience in an IT Systems Engineer or similar infrastructure role + Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure + Deep knowledge of networking technologies (routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs) and network security principles + Experience with Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) + Experience with Azure cloud environments and cloud networking + Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices + Proven ability to lead and deliver infrastructure projects on time + Ability to support a multi-site environment, including occasional travel between locations + Willingness to provide after-hours support for maintenance or critical incidents and participate in an on-call rotation
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • + Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment + Familiarity with OT/industrial systems and IT/OT network segmentation + Experience with compliance frameworks (e.
g., SOX, NIST
SP 800-53, CMMC
) + Experience supporting multi-site environments + Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware)
