System Integration Engineer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management Design, build, and support Epic Bridges interfaces connecting Epic to third-party systems (labs, radiology, pharmacy, HIEs, devices, revenue cycle partners, public health). Develop and maintain InterSystems Health Connect productions (business services, business processes, business operations) to route, orchestrate, and transform data. Build and troubleshoot common HL7 v2 interface patterns (as applicable):

-including triggers, acknowledgements ( ACK ), error handling, retries, and reprocessing. Create and maintain data mappings/transformations (e.g., HealthConnect DTL ), and implement code-based logic when configuration alone is insufficient. Configure integration connectivity and protocols (as applicable):

, file/SFTP, web services/APIs; manage certificates/secure transport where required. Perform end-to-end testing (unit/integrated/regression/cutover), validate message content and downstream behavior, and support go-lives.

Monitor interface health:

queues, message traceability, alerts, dashboards; create and maintain runbooks/SOPs and operational documentation. Lead/participate in incident triage and root-cause analysis (RCA) across upstream/downstream systems; implement fixes and preventive controls. Strong hands-on experience with InterSystems HealthConnect development and production support.
