AVD Virtualization Engineer

Role:

AVD Virtualization Engineer Duration:

6 months contract to hire ( without any visa restriction)

Location:

Candidates must be commutable distance from Wayne, PA or Plano, TX, because it is a hybrid on-site 3x per week

Required Skills:

We are looking for an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, NOT an operation person. These candidates need to have hands-on engineering experience. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience. Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience. 5+ years of experience supporting Windows desktop and Virtualization Platforms required. Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or comparable virtual desktop technologies required.

Working knowledge of Azure fundamentals:

compute, networking, storage required. Experience with FSLogix profile management.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience using Microsoft Intune and/or Group Policy preferred. Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and MFA concepts preferred. Basic experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar) required. Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills required.
