AEM Architect Location:

Remote (with 30-40% travel) or Onsite - Midwest, USA Summary We are seeking an experienced AEM Architect with deep expertise in enterprise content management platforms to lead architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale digital solutions. The role involves cloud and on‑prem deployments, migrations, integrations, and technical leadership across distributed teams, while ensuring alignment with business and technology standards.

Required / Mandatory

Skills 15+ years of overall professional experience with 7+ years in AEM and related technologies Certified AEM Architect Strong knowledge of AEM 6.x architecture, upgrades, and migration strategies Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and migration from on‑prem or managed services environments In-depth understanding of Oak architecture and query optimization Advanced expertise with Sling framework and custom development Experience with version control systems and Maven-based build/deployment scripts Strong AEM administration, configuration, and deployment experience (on‑prem and cloud) Extensive experience with integrations such as marketing automation platforms, eCommerce systems, search platforms, and other digital touchpoints Knowledge of digital experience platforms including personalization, customer data, and campaign management tools Familiarity with tag management systems and marketing pixels Strong experience with Dispatcher configuration, workflows, headless implementations, and modern AEM features Proven experience in AEM/DAM upgrades and migrations Experience designing and managing end‑to‑end multi-site management (MSM) implementations Solid Java development skills and experience with CI/CD tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins, code quality tools) Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models Ability to lead front-end and back-end technical teams and coordinate onsite/offshore delivery Strong documentation skills including application design documents Excellent communication and client-facing skills, including executive-level presentations By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
