Associate Systems DV Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Position Overview:
Associate Systems DV Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for the development, execution, and approvals of system-level automated tests for design verification of products prior to commercial release. The person in this position will work closely with other SDETs, Systems Engineers, Manual Test Engineers, and Software Engineers to ensure effective processes, cross-functional collaboration, and high quality of Insulet's products.Responsibilities:
- Learn and develop expertise with existing tools and testing automation frameworks used to develop new automated tests for Android, iOS, and Web Services applications to validate system requirements and to support other testing needs.
- Apply knowledge within existing automated tests to match requirements changes and a new understanding of system performance.
- Aide in operating automated tests, recording results, and documenting issues using standard tools and processes during formal test cycles.
- Aide in operating dry-runs of new and updated automated Test Cases.
- Periodically perform manual scripted and exploratory testing to support new feature development and regression testing efforts to grow domain expertise and support manual System test needs
- Work with Systems, development, and test engineers to develop test automation procedures and protocols for design verification. Includes obtaining approval from all stakeholders and ensuring no gaps in testing across levels.
- Work with Systems, development, and test engineers to identify and correct issues.
- Perform systemic review of automated Test Cases to ensure that both typical use and edge cases are properly covered (happy path, alternate path, negative path, etc.)
- Draft protocols for verification and validation of test tools.
- Draft reports and log issues for executed verification tests.
- Participate in the planning and execution of technical project work.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 - 2 Years of software development experience developing automated tests and frameworks for Mobile, Web, and API testing.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong software skills required, including use of Python, Java, Junit or TestNG
- Strong knowledge of HTTP protocols (REST/SOAP) and API testing
- Knowledge of Android or iOS technology stack
- Knowledge of SCM tools (Git, Bitbucket)
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Compensation & Benefits:
For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $67,100.00 - $100,625.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
