AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT (Remote). You will develop reusable IaC modules and automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring across EC2, VPC, RDS, and related cloud services .

Rate Range:

$53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and reusable IaC modules. Provision and administer AWS services including EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, and supporting components. Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, monitoring, and configuration workflows. Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support and optimize CI/CD pipelines. Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and cost‑optimization best practices. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and drive continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 6-8 years of hands‑on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure engineering and terraform‑based IaC. Proven expertise in designing and automating scalable AWS environments using Terraform modules and state management. Pay Details:
