Azure Cloud Engineer

Experteer Overview In this Cloud Engineer role, you'll maintain and enhance the Azure cloud environment, automate deployments, and advise on new technologies to boost efficiency and service quality. You'll collaborate with infrastructure, product owners, and business stakeholders to design scalable, secure cloud solutions and enable faster resource delivery. The role combines hands-on cloud engineering with policy, security, and IaC practices to support enterprise-scale operations. You'll act as a bridge between business and cloud teams while upholding security and compliance.

• Develop and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure and automation tooling
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate cloud requirements into practical solutions
• Troubleshoot cloud performance issues and optimize operations
• Recommend cloud and AI-based solutions and document findings for technical and non-technical audiences
• Deploy resource using code and enterprise-grade IaC practices
• Coordinate with application owners and cloud team to ensure alignment with standards and security controls
• Implement CI/CD, automation, and tooling for reliable, repeatable deployments
• Ensure logging, monitoring, and security controls are active and compliant
• Participate in peer reviews, design sessions, and on-call rotations
• Work with architects and partners to align solutions with standards and best practices
• Provide 24/7 support during on-call windows and planned maintenance
• Investigate current cloud usage, risks, gaps, and remediation opportunities Tasks
• 10+ years deploying resources and managing infrastructure in IT ops
• 5+ years Azure cloud infra deployments using IaC and handling IaaS/PaaS
• 4+ years GitHub Actions, automated cloud infrastructure across prod and non-prod
• 3+ years CI/CD pipelines, Azure Cloud troubleshooting, and cloud solution design
• 1+ year Kubernetes platforms, Azure AI or similar AI services
• Experience with Azure IaaS (VMs, storage, networking) and PaaS (App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Data Factory)
• Knowledge of identity management, security controls, compliance and encryption
• Experience with Linux and Windows servers, DNS/LAN/WAN/Firewalls/IAM
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/ServiceNow, PowerShell
• Knowledge of Octopus Deploy and Ansible preferred
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, or related field Key requirements
