The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to support full product lifecycle of a software development and test environment using your knowledge of operating system administration, web app design, and security monitoring tools. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Palmdale, CA location.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist in the integration of equipment into testing environments, ensuring compatibility and performance standards are met. Support hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing, providing expertise in the setup and execution of simulations. Manage and configure cyber lab racks to facilitate effective testing and integration of various systems. Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain aircraft simulations that accurately reflect operational scenarios. Participate in the setup and operation of Test Stations, such as the Mission System Integration Test Station (MSITS) and the Vehicle System Integrated Test Station (VSITS), for comprehensive system testing. Implement and manage cyber networking solutions to ensure secure and efficient communication between test systems and components. Document testing procedures, results, and best practices to support ongoing quality assurance and compliance efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues and ensure successful system performance. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to test station engineering and cyber systems. Work multiple shifts and weekends as program needs arise Potential travel (10%) to support program activities and integration. This position may filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications for Level 2: Master's Degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience Candidates must have a current US Government Secret level security clearance (or higher) in order to be considered Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances to include Special Program Access (SAP) as a condition of employment Must have a Security+ certification or greater in order to be considered Experience managing Windows Server and Desktop systems, as well as a high level of proficiency in RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Administration of Atlassian, Coverity, and Fortify web applications, with a focus on the identification and resolution of performance issues experience Experience with access controls and comprehensive experience in utilizing monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and SolarWinds to effectively detect and respond to security incidents Basic Qualifications for Level 3: Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience Candidates must have a current US Government Secret level security clearance (or higher) in order to be considered Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances to include Special Program Access (SAP) as a condition of employment Must have a Security+ certification or greater in order to be considered Experience managing Windows Server and Desktop systems, as well as a high level of proficiency in RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Administration of Atlassian, Coverity, and Fortify web applications, with a focus on the identification and resolution of performance issues experience Experience with access controls and comprehensive experience in utilizing monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and SolarWinds to effectively detect and respond to security incidents
Preferred Qualifications:

$0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
