Job Description

Field Systems Engineer Introduction:
This position is based out of our New Castle, DE office and involves providing on-site and remote support for clients across multiple offices. The Field Systems Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware/software issues, managing Microsoft 365 accounts, diagnosing network connectivity problems, and utilizing various remote support tools. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, able to work independently, and have experience in enterprise environments.

Administration Network Troubleshooting Ticketing System Proficiency Printer & Peripheral Setup Remote Support Tools Onboarding & Offboarding Mobile Device Management Multi-Office Remote Support Client-Facing Communication Basic Server Awareness Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience:
1-3 years of hands-on IT support experience Proficiency troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and macOS endpoints Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD) Experience with Active Directory and GPO basics Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and VPN troubleshooting Ability to work independently at client sites Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience using a ticketing system (ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.) Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:
Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications Experience with RMM tools (NinjaRMM, ConnectWise Automate, etc.) Familiarity with MDM platforms (Intune, Addigy, etc.) Exposure to backup solutions (Veeam, Datto, Acronis) Basic knowledge of firewall/switch configuration (Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, Ubiquiti) Experience supporting VoIP systems Knowledge of cybersecurity basics Experience supporting clients in financial, legal, or healthcare industries
