Job Description

BAE is seeking a self-motivated personable Project Engineer to join our diverse engineering support services contracts. This position is in Mount Laurel, NJ. The qualified candidate shall perform the role and responsibilities of a Baseline Coordinator. The responsibilities include the coordination and communication of an assigned Baseline of activities to the engineering support services team and the direct government project lead. The candidate must possess the ability to articulate and communicate clear independent engineering and financial information, reports, build schedules and metrics occurring across the assigned baseline. The qualified candidate will be required to partner and integrate with a team of engineers, technologists, and military veterans dedicated to providing independent quality assessments of development of computer programs critical to the defense of the United States and Foreign Military Sales.

The candidate's responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following:

The ability to articulate and provide a true and accurate account and status of technical aspects of the designated project development in a clear and concise manner to the government project lead.

Demonstrate the ability to technically assess testing aspects conducted by the developer and or other Government agencies.

Coordinate, plan, collaborate with the T&E, System Engineering, Logistics, Cyber, and Division for system testing events and necessary support.

Experience with Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) Highly preferred

Facilitate quick communications of customer requirements and requests to the engineering support services staff.

Provide daily communications to the Baseline Coordinator manager, and BAE of government requests and actions.

The ability to provide timely inputs.

Requirements

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering in any of the recognized disciplines or a minimum of four years experience with US Navy/Aegis Combat System

Experience with Multi-Mission Signal Processor Next Generation (MMSP-NG) is mandatory.

Proficient with Microsoft Professional Tool Suite

The ability to recognize, react and, understand your role in a chain of command structure to ensure swift and thorough communications.

Familiarity with digital applications

Detailed understanding of the Aegis Combat System data analysis structure to assist in innovating and promoting new methods to assess data more efficiently.

Communicate quick decisions and apply logical reasoning within fast pace and highly visual situations.

Demonstrate the willingness and desire to further gained technical knowledge.

Possess excellent oral, written, and project lead skills.

Work under Baseline Manager supervision, and provide sound judgement, allegiance, and accuracy in all reporting aspects.

U.S. Citizen and eligible for a high level DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience with Multi-Mission Signal Processor Next Generation (MMSP-NG) is mandatory.

Technical Writing Experience

Experience with Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) Highly preferred

Possess a current DOD Security Clearance Previous experience in the role of responsible engineer is desirable

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range:

$77809 - $132275

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
