Role Summary The Integration Specialist is responsible to coordinate the integration office (iOffice) activities for a connected infotainment platform. This person will be coordinating with module responsible engineers and project leads to set the function and service integration timelines, and ensure timely release notices to the organization. Overall responsible for the project integration status, and maintenance of official versions for further test and validation activities. Role Responsibilities Integration Office Coordination (80%) Overall responsible for the planning and coordination of VW software integrations within the connected infotainment ecosystem Responsible to lead release planning and smoke testing of software combinations, and providing release recommendation (release OK/NOK) Configuration management in terms of providing necessary configuration files required for the test (ZDC;
ODX, OCU
data set) Technical support such as Level 1 support for test teams Responsible to ensure the timely distribution of releases at fixed dates via Mail and in confluence from the integration team Garage/Technician Support (10%) Maintain vehicle hardware and test resources with the support of / in alignment global project teams, which means swap ECUs, install trace setup and ensure expected tracing capabilities (CAN, ETH, MLP, OCU, serial2, ...) according to requirements. Coordination of the needed materials. Responsible to ensure correct vehicle setup ,such as HW & SW versioning, according to build and test management releases (e.g. ZDC;
ODX, OCU
data set), as well as ensuring error free test resource setup Responsible to ensure proper software configuration of test resources for project events and milestone evaluations Responsible to ensure the appropriate preparation / support of test drives, for example, B
- C• and BMG release milestone events in the US and Canada NAR Region Critical Infotainment Topic Support (10%) Evaluates product concerns from field products with detailed analysis and resolution recommendation with the supplier and other component owners throughout the world to ensure no side effects to other markets occur Works closely with Quality to review field concerns and identify root cause; defines countermeasures with the supplier and component owners when product changes are necessary Qualifications & Requirements Years of relevant experience: 5+ years of related engineering experience Education required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent Education desired: Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Skills Analytical and conceptual thinking•using logic and reason, creative and strategic Communication skills•interpersonal, presentation and written Computer savvy•skilled in the use of software Integration•joining people, processes or systems Influencing and negotiation skills Resource management German skills written and verbal are advantageous

Experience with automotive infotainment control module SW Development and Feature Design Experience regarding the integration of multiple control units in an automotive system Experience with Volkswagen infotainment control modules Understanding of vehicle communication networks
