This role focuses on day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and contributing to projects that enhance system reliability, security and performance. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in systems administration who is looking to grow their skills in cloud technologies, automation and modern IT practices. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal-oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results. Core Competencies Working knowledge of Microsoft-based infrastructure, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term resolution Ability to participate in projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Understanding of IT service management best practices and concepts (incident, problem, asset, and change management) Effective communication and ability to work consultatively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands across operations Commitment to continuous improvement, including automation, process optimization, and modernization Strong documentation practices, including system design, processes, and procedures Security and risk awareness, with the ability to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Core Responsibilities Technical skills and understanding of Windows based environments (cloud and on-prem), Entra ID and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint); designing, implementing, and testing hardware and software across a distributed, multi-site environment Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative manner with others, i.e. establish rapport, interview/fact-find, define requirements, present options/recommend solutions, follow-up, and customer-focused behavior. Proven ability to work in a dynamic team environment with changing requirements and competing priorities Participation in projects and partner with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery Provide support and procure/ship equipment to various locations and remote users Serve as a technical escalation point, including analyzing root cause Create or update topology, process, and procedure documentation Participate in an on-call rotation for escalated issues Demonstrates professional maturity through giving and receiving constructive feedback Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to other team members as needed Contribute to the evolution and modernization of the IT environment Adheres to all company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned The Skills and Expertise You Have Bachelor's Degree with Technical Competencies and 3 years of industry experience OR 5 years of industry experience Working knowledge with Windows servers and Microsoft services (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint), including fine-tuning and elimination of single points of failure. Experience managing and troubleshooting
AD, DNS, DHCP
