Direct Hire | Full-Time About the Opportunity We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Integration Architect to lead the architecture, governance, technical strategy, and modernization roadmap for a large-scale enterprise integration environment. This is a highly visible technical leadership role for an architect who can define modern integration strategies, guide engineering teams, and work across the organization to connect applications, data, and critical business processes. Key Responsibilities Own the enterprise integration architecture, platform strategy, governance, standards, and long-term modernization roadmap. Design cloud-native, API-first, event-driven, and distributed architectures across enterprise applications and business systems. Lead architecture and engineering initiatives using Microsoft Azure, C#, .NET, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Design and implement integrations using Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. Establish integration patterns, technical standards, reusable services, APIs, and architecture best practices. Lead modernization initiatives involving CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, observability, reliability, and disaster recovery. Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data, Product, and business teams to develop scalable technical solutions. Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation and production support. Mentor and develop engineers and architects while helping establish strong engineering and architectural practices. Qualifications 7+ years of enterprise software, integration, or application architecture experience. 5+ years of technical leadership or architecture experience. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, C#, and .NET. Proven experience designing microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures. Experience with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern integration patterns. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, monitoring/observability, and disaster recovery. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams. Experience with large-scale enterprise platforms such as ERP, supply chain, commerce, inventory, pricing, or other core business applications is highly valued. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a hands-on Principal Architect who combines strong Azure and .NET engineering expertise with enterprise-level architecture and technical leadership. You should be comfortable defining strategy, making complex architectural decisions, working directly with engineering teams, and driving modernization from concept through implementation. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a hybrid/onsite work environment in Denver, CO.
