Dell USA L.P. is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer for our Round Rock, TX facility and can work remotely.
Duties:
Responsible for developing tools to identify reliability risks, monitor application growth and triage production issues. Coordinate with infrastructure and platform teams on regular maintenance, improve availability, scalability, and performance of the environment. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis and drive change management to prevent recurrence. Participate in on-call support with Engineering, Infrastructure and platform teams during outage or maintenance activity. Collaborate with development teams and work cross-functionally with IT and vendors to implement the infrastructure required to support application use cases & actively engage with internal teams to develop tooling, framework to drive full observability and automation of the environment.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 6 years of experience in a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 8 years of experience in a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Requires experience with:
programming with C# and OOPS concepts; Mongo No SQL; Oracle database; Pivotal Cloud Foundry; and Kafka and RMQ.
