RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce's client in Acton, MA is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a Cloud Platform Agile Release Train within a highly regulated product development environment. This role will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Systems Engineering, and Program Management teams to drive planning, execution, and delivery across multiple Agile Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader and delivery facilitator, helping teams align on priorities, manage dependencies, remove impediments, and deliver complex cloud-based solutions. This individual will play a key role in coordinating large-scale Agile initiatives while promoting SAFe best practices and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, Inspect & Adapt sessions, and other SAFe ceremonies
- Coordinate planning and execution across multiple Scrum teams supporting cloud platform initiatives
- Manage cross-team dependencies, integration activities, risks, impediments, and escalation paths
- Track and report program progress through metrics, milestones, forecasting, and delivery reporting
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leaders, and Systems teams to ensure feature readiness and successful planning
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across distributed engineering teams and stakeholders
- Support Agile teams that may not have dedicated Scrum Master resources
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and reinforce Agile and SAFe operating practices
- Provide leadership visibility into program execution, risks, dependencies, and delivery health
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Quality, Verification, and Program Management functions to ensure successful releases
REQUIREMENTS
- SAFe certification a plus
- 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, Scrum Master, RTE, TPM, or related roles
- 3+ years of experience serving as an RTE, Senior Scrum Master, or Agile Program Manager
- Strong SAFe Agile experience including PI Planning and ART execution
- Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams in large-scale Agile environments
- Cloud platform experience preferred
- Med device or regulated industry experience strongly preferred
