26-14205 Position Overview We are seeking two experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) for direct-hire opportunities with an established enterprise organization in St. Louis, MO. This is a senior technical engineering role focused on cloud architecture, platform reliability, scalability, resiliency, and automation. The ideal candidate will work closely with application development and infrastructure teams to improve system architecture, establish reliability standards, and support mission-critical applications. This is not a traditional operations or production support position. We need hands-on engineers with strong architecture and design experience who can identify reliability risks and implement long-term improvements. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. Strong cloud infrastructure and architecture experience; Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred . Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments. Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture. Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, or Splunk. Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, availability, and resiliency. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scripting (Python, Go, Java, Bash, or similar). Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization skills. Ability to collaborate with development teams, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers. Key Responsibilities Design and improve cloud-native architecture for reliability, scalability, and performance. Establish and implement SRE standards, best practices, and reliability engineering processes. Partner with application teams to identify architectural risks and recommend improvements. Develop infrastructure automation and improve CI/CD processes. Implement monitoring, observability, and proactive reliability improvements. Conduct architecture reviews, performance analysis, and root-cause investigations. Support highly available, mission-critical production environments. Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams. Additional Information Hybrid work arrangement in St. Louis, MO. Local candidates only.
