Monday - Friday 8-5Summary:
This role will be responsible for managing the IBM Sterling B2Bi platform to ensure the secure and efficient flow of electronic data between trading partners.Essential Responsibilities:
Participate in the daily team stand-up to provide update on the assigned projects Support B2B developers on complex partner onboarding Investigate external communication issues (SFTP, AS2 or HTTPS) with trading partners Troubleshoot B2Bi operational problems and restore the services to normal state Actively monitor Sterling business processes and adapters ensuring a 24/7 state of operational readiness Apply system patches, and upgrade the Sterling B2Bi and Lightwell software as needed Ensure data security by managing user accounts and permissions for Sterling servers and Lightwell Collaborate with Server team on Linux upgrades Support B2B application during off-hours Support Disaster Recovery and periodic Sterling maintenance windows Other duties as assignedRequired Minimum Experience and Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 5 years of administration experience managing IBM Sterling B2B integrator 3 years of experience with B2Bi, Lightwell, and IBM Secure Proxy Implementation, upgrade, and patching on Linux platform 3 years of experience monitoring overall EDI activities with reports and statistics 1 year experience with UNIX and/orLINUX Preferred Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university 6 months experience in Supply Chain Logistics 6 months experience in Java/J2EE programming 1 year experience with IBM Sterling Integrator cluster setups 1 year experience with Sterling B2B Integrator BP and mapping stack 1 year experience withXPath, XSLT, SOAP, REST, SQL Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent analytical skills and strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop complex systems with minimal supervision Ability to mentor the other developers on B2B team Ability to identify multiple ways to deliver technical solutions and articulate relative strengths and weaknesses of the choices Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business partners Ability to assess and tune application performance and system health Proficient skills managing system load performance and B2Bi queue management Proficient skills with Microsoft SQL Server, and Database technologies Proficient skills with B2B design patterns, architecture and integration technologies that go beyond point-to-point integrations and allow for more reuse and flexibility Strong knowledge of B2B/EDI terminology & standards (X12, EDI, XML, JSON) Knowledge of Agile development practices Good understanding of the customer integration testing Why work at Landstar?
