MANTECH seeks a System Engineering Intern to work virtually and onsite in Stafford, VA and Herndon, VA as needed. The candidate will be performing research and analysis on technologies and tools to provide efficient Intelligent Engineering solutions. This position requires a U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain a US Security Clearance. Responsibiliti es include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and facilitate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)-related technical and strategy discussions. Facilitate and participate in the collaborative transformation process of identifying and capturing relevant Systems Engineering information and modeling it using MBSE tools and SysML language. Conduct tasks related to implementation of MBSE including implementing Digital Engineering, and Digital Thread techniques across system lifecycle. Prepare technical documents and SysML models that define and specify system/subsyst em characteristic s. Ingest traditional engineering artifacts and develop Digital Engineering Models and Marine Corps-complian t systems engineering artifacts. Translating traditional acquisition requirements, captured in documents, into modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or Cameo System of Systems Architect.

Required Q ualifications:

Current full-time student pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with a projected expected graduation date no earlier than December 2026 U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance Demonstrated knowledge in an academic or internship environment with systems design and integration Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models & Python Academic or professional experience with engineering concepts and systems engineering life cycle activities Desired Q ualifications: Familiar with modeling languages such as Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) Experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design tools Familiar with Cameo Model Based Systems Engineering software
