Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify, design, and implement scalable process improvements across data engineering workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze current-state processes and define future-state solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
Develop and maintain documentation, process maps, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement efforts.
Integrate business process improvements with data architecture strategies to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
Drive change management and training efforts to ensure adoption of new processes and technologies.
Each day begins with reviewing performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks in current data workflows. The architect meets with engineering and business teams to gather feedback and align on improvement priorities. They design and prototype process enhancements, often using tools like process mapping software or data visualization platforms. Documentation and stakeholder communication are key, ensuring transparency and alignment across departments. The day ends with tracking progress on initiatives and preparing updates for leadership.

Skills and Requirements
Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or BPMN.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess workflows and identify optimization opportunities.
Experience with enterprise data systems and integration across platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, data lakes).
Proficiency in change management and stakeholder engagement to drive adoption of new processes.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and align process architecture with strategic goals. Six Sigma or PMP certification
