Full-Time | On-Site Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Infotainment Technician to support the infotainment development team by maintaining test vehicles, flashing software, installing ECUs and test equipment, and building custom electrical harnesses. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong automotive electronics experience who enjoys troubleshooting, vehicle integration, and supporting advanced in-vehicle technology systems. The technician will also assist with fleet readiness, laboratory organization, inventory tracking, and ensuring all development vehicles and benches remain fully operational. Key Responsibilities Vehicle & Bench Flashing / Configuration Management (40%) Perform software flashing, hardware updates, and system configuration changes on development vehicles and bench systems Maintain test vehicle and test bench readiness for engineering activities Track and update vehicle configurations, software versions, and hardware status in internal systems Support troubleshooting of flash failures or configuration issues Test Vehicle / Bench Build-Up & Equipment Installation (40%) Build specialized electrical adapter harnesses and prototype wiring solutions Install ECUs, data logging tools, and test equipment into development vehicles and lab benches Maintain and repair installed test equipment in both vehicle and bench environments Support custom setups for infotainment validation and testing activities Vehicle Fleet & Laboratory Support (20%) Monitor fleet maintenance schedules, fueling, cleaning, and readiness of test vehicles Organize and track parts inventory, electronics inventory, and lab equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace Assist engineering teams with hardware movement, setups, and logistics Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of hands-on experience with automotive electronics, vehicle systems, or related technical work Experience troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems Ability to build and modify wiring harnesses Experience using software flashing tools or diagnostic equipment Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude Excellent organizational and documentation skills Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced engineering environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Volkswagen Group vehicles or vehicle architecture German language skills Familiarity with infotainment systems, ECUs, CAN networks, or automotive diagnostics Prior experience supporting prototype or development vehicle programs #HRUProfessional Apply for this job Copy link ✓ Thanks for sharing!
