Job Description
Job Description The System Engineer / Technical Authority serves as the technical owner for assigned plant systems, ensuring system reliability, operability, maintainability, and configuration control. This role partners with operations, maintenance, engineering, and configuration management teams to evaluate system performance, implement design changes, and resolve technical issues impacting plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the System Engineer and technical authority for assigned plant systems. Maintain overall technical responsibility for system operability, reliability, and maintenance activities. Coordinate and support configuration management activities for assigned systems. Monitor, assess, and improve system health, performance, and operational readiness. Develop and prepare configuration control and design change packages. Evaluate technical impacts of proposed modifications and system changes. Assess impacts of changes to approved safety authorization bases and facility requirements. Perform system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action development. Identify and implement system improvement opportunities. Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to resolve equipment and system issues. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and configuration management processes. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 10+ years of relevant experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, utility, power generation, nuclear, or complex facility systems.
- ABET-accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience serving as a System Engineer, Technical Authority, Responsible Engineer, or System Owner.
- Strong experience with configuration management, engineering change packages, and design modifications
- Experience evaluating and implementing system improvements, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- DOE Core Certificate
- 40-Hour
