Job Description

An engineering organization is seeking an Integration Engineer in Carrollton, TX to support software integration efforts across requirements, design, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and release activities. This onsite role is focused on deploying and configuring security solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a structured engineering environment. About the

Office-based Responsibilities:
Support the full project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and release activities. Assist with deployment and configuration of security solutions, including system installation, integration, and database builds. Participate in requirements capture, validation, traceability reviews, and design change documentation. Contribute to functional testing, integration testing, pre-FAT, FAT, and issue resolution. Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver assigned work, manage risks, and support onsite project activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably
STEM. 1-2
years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Experience with systems integration and the software/system development lifecycle. Familiarity with structured engineering processes, requirements traceability, and configuration management. Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft 365. Knowledge of basic network architecture and relational databases.
Desired Skills:
Experience with real-time, computer-based process control systems. Programming experience in C, C++, or C#. Familiarity with Visual Studio, Crystal Reports, and Git. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory. Knowledge of networking device installation and configuration. Exposure to video surveillance systems. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, Incremental, or Agile. Experience with software configuration management tools and practices.
