Level 3 Systems Engineer -
Azure Infrastructure Salary:
$90,000 - $110,000
Location:
In Office About the Role We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Systems Engineer with strong Azure expertise to serve as a senior technical leader within our Managed Services team. This role combines advanced troubleshooting, project delivery, client ownership, and technical mentorship. You will be the final escalation point for complex issues, lead infrastructure projects, proactively manage client environments, and help develop the next generation of engineers. Responsibilities Serve as the highest level escalation point for complex technical issues. Design, deploy, and support Azure, Microsoft 365, server, networking, and virtualization solutions. Lead infrastructure projects from planning and design through implementation and completion. Act as the technical owner for assigned clients, ensuring reliability, security, and performance. Identify risks and improvement opportunities before they become problems. Work closely with Account Managers to provide strategic technology guidance. Mentor junior engineers and assist with technical development across the team. Maintain accurate client documentation and operational standards. Assist with administration of internal systems and shared tools. Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Qualifications 5+ years of systems engineering experience, preferably in an MSP environment. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. Expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper-V). Experience with PowerShell automation and scripting. Strong troubleshooting, project management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.) are highly preferred.
