Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Train Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is an 12+ month contract opportunity.
This RTE role is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics/features and value delivered by an Agile Release Train. These individuals ensure impediments to delivery are resolved quickly, protect the Trains from disruptions, and drive continuous improvement by promoting agile principles and mindset through coaching.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Release Train ceremonies and manage dependencies
Report the health of epic/feature delivery and overall program increment
Ensure impediments to delivery are resolved quickly
Protect the Trains from disruptions and drive continuous improvement
Foster strong collaboration among team members and help the team solve problems
Requirements:
Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables
Working knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management
Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team)
Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
Process and detail-oriented
Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments
Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in aplex fast-paced environment
