Job Description

DevOps / Release & Platform Operations Engineer iProcess Global Research Inc - 4.0 Irving, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract From $30 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Performance monitoring Continuous Delivery (CD) implementation Engineering development testing Data migration IT operations Configuration management Application deployment Quality assurance in testing PostgreSQL Incident management operations support GitHub Database migration or upgrading Cloud automation DevOps automation Full Job Description AxisOne is an AI-native lab services marketplace and R D platform built on top of iProcess Global Research's global network (22 years, 1,500+ collection sites, 40+ countries). We ship continuously on a modern stack — Replit, GitHub, Supabase/Postgres, Clerk, and Stripe — and we're looking for someone to own the entire path from "code is written" to "running reliably in production" so our developers can stay focused on building. This is not a feature-development role. Our team writes the application code. Your job is to make sure every change ships, runs, and keeps running — safely. You are the single owner of everything downstream of development. What you'll own Environments — Stand up and maintain clean dev / staging / production environments, with proper secrets management, configuration, and access controls. Release pipeline — Build and run the CI/CD process that moves new code from GitHub through automated checks into production. Every change the dev team produces goes through the same safe, repeatable path — nothing ships ad hoc. Testing & QA — Set up and run automated and manual testing (regression, integration, smoke tests) so broken code never reaches users. Deployment — Own deploys, rollbacks, versioning, and release coordination with the dev team. Production — Monitoring, uptime, logging, alerting, and incident response. You're first on the scene when something breaks. Migration — Lead the migration of existing users and data from our current platform to the new one, with zero data loss and minimal disruption. Ongoing maintenance — Dependency updates, database migrations, backups, performance, and routine platform hygiene. What you bring Hands-on DevOps / release / platform engineering experience: CI/CD, deployment automation, environment management. Comfort with Postgres (Supabase a plus) and database migrations. Experience with monitoring/observability and production incident response. Familiarity running auth (Clerk/Auth0) and payments (Stripe) in production. A track record of user and data migrations between platforms. Strong testing discipline and a safety-first mindset for anything touching production. Self-directed — comfortable being the sole owner of the downstream pipeline on a small, fast-moving team. Nice to have Replit deployments or similar PaaS experience. Infrastructure-as-code, containerization. Background in regulated healthcare / life-sciences data environments.
