Staff Data Integration Engineer Location:
Irving, TX (Dallas area)
Hybrid:
Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Employment:
W2
Pay Rate:
$45-$55/hour No sponsorship available. No C2C or third-party support in any form. No phone calls, please. Job Summary We are looking for a Staff Data Integration Engineer to support and maintain enterprise data integration solutions across both cloud and legacy environments. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, SSIS packages, and Automic workflows while helping ensure reliable day-to-day production data processing. You will also participate in an on-call rotation and work closely with senior team members to resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve operational processes. Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and SSIS packages
  • Modify and support Automic workflows, schedules, and production jobs
  • Monitor production data processes and respond to integration incidents
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation routines
  • Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell, Python, C#, or similar technologies
  • Participate in deployments, testing, code reviews, and release activities
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide timely production support
  • Follow security, incident management, change management, and ITSM standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and supportability Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in data integration, software development, or technical operations
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and/or enterprise scheduling tools such as Automic
  • Strong SQL Server and relational database experience
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, C#, Java, or similar scripting/programming languages
  • Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, APIs, and file-based integrations
  • Experience with source control, testing, and deployment practices
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and support production systems
  • Self-driven and curious, with the ability to dig into unfamiliar pipelines, workflows, and systems independently
