ELECTRICAL POWER DESIGN ENGINEER

Overview We are looking for an experienced Electrical Power Design Engineer to join our nationally recognized engineering firm specializing in electrical power and control systems. This position is based in Stafford, TX, with the possibility of also working from our Alpharetta, GA branch. Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience developing comprehensive electrical construction and specification packages Proficient in load studies, single line diagrams, lighting, grounding, and construction specifications Familiar with National Electrical Code (NEC) and IEEE standards Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and power system modeling tools Experience with electrical power relay settings and equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Completion preferred Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain within 2 years Responsibilities Lead electrical power load studies and construction packages development Create electrical power specifications and bills of material Conduct field verification walkdowns and factory acceptance testing Assist with start-up and commissioning, including troubleshooting Provide after-hours support and collaborate with Project Managers Assist with cost estimates and proposals for new projects Travel up to 25% as needed Company Benefits Competitive salary with bonus potential Benefit Time Off (BTO) for paid time off or cash option Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) Matching Company funded health insurance and health club sponsorship
