Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Architect to lead the design, governance, and modernization of enterprise IT infrastructure and architecture. This individual will serve as a strategic technical leader, ensuring technology solutions are secure, scalable, interoperable, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with enterprise networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and governance processes
  • Partner with technical and business stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with organizational goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on technology strategy, infrastructure investments, and modernization efforts
  • Guide Solution Architects and engineering teams to ensure designs meet security, scalability, and interoperability requirements
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on network optimization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation
  • Evaluate current infrastructure, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to improve performance, security, and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, risk management practices, and change management processes
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, implementation plans, and network diagrams

Skills and Requirements 14+ years of experience in Enterprise IT, Network Architecture, or Infrastructure Engineering (12+ years with a Master's degree) 7+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and cybersecurity 3-5+ years supporting large-scale enterprise or government IT environments, including infrastructure assessments and modernization initiatives Experience supporting government, defense, or other highly regulated environments Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategies, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps Strong background in enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and systems architecture across large-scale environments Experience designing, supporting, and modernizing both on-premises and cloud-based solutions Knowledge of industry architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DoDAF, or similar methodologies Understanding of secure multi-network environments, risk management, and security compliance best practices Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with both technical and executive stakeholders Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain/maintain up to TS/SCI) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Solutions Architect, or similar certifications Previous enterprise infrastructure for an ICBM Prior experience supporting DOW IT Projects/Programs Experience with enterprise cloud migrations and digital transformation initiatives Knowledge of network automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tools Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), cloud networking, and advanced security architectures Master's degree in a technical discipline
